Who We Are

Next Level Sports Performance & Therapy was formed to help address the need for specialized sports care in Oklahoma. We believe that our patients deserve expert-level therapy in a 1-on-1 setting that is centered on their goals. After experiencing the traditional model of physical therapy as a college baseball pitcher & clinician, Colton decided to take on the mission of bringing specialized care to all (regardless of age and stage of life). It is our goal to provide every patient with the most up-to-date, evidence-based care, with the focus on taking you to your Next Level.

Colton Bunney

Founder & Physical Therapist

  • Board-Certified Sports Physical Therapist

  • Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist

  • Evidence In Motion Sports Residency Graduate

Dr. Bunney was born and raised in Stillwater, Oklahoma where he was active in various sports growing up. Following high school, Colton attended Murray State College on a baseball scholarship before returning to Stillwater and attending Oklahoma State University. As an undergraduate student, Colton was involved in various student organizations and earned his bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences. From there he went on to the University of Oklahoma-Health Sciences Center (OUHSC) to pursue his dream of becoming a physical therapist. Next, he graduated from the Evidence In Motion Sports Residency, accomplished by only 1% of physical therapists. He then became 1 of 20 physical therapists in Oklahoma to be board-certified in sports physical therapy.

Colton knows first-hand the impact of being injured, as he tore his rotator cuff pitching in high school. He opted for physical therapy rather than surgery and was able to throw harder than before. He has a passion for working with athletes post-injury and facilitating healing while restoring their identity as an athlete.

Colton currently enjoys living in Edmond with his wife (Kate), son (Warren) and 2 dogs (Leah and Dixie). He spends his free time with family and friends, being involved at his church, going to the gym, and cheering on the Oklahoma State Cowboys. He is excited to serve the community by working with patients to get them back to their life.
